Hardik, Nizami, Kanhaiya, Jignesh to play key role in 2019 polls

NEW DELHI FEB 13: Several youth leaders, in the spotlight in the last couple of years, are speculated to be making their electoral debuts in the Lok Sabha polls in 2019 & also to campaign in 2019 elections together to defeat BJP.
After rumours that former Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) leader Kanhaiya Kumar will contest the Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Bihar on a Communist Party of India (CPI) ticket, Patidar leader Hardik Patel will contest from Gujarat and Salman Nizami who targeted PM Modi in last assembly elections may also contest the elections from Maharastra & will campaign across the country.
Nizami is a popular young face in India, who recently slammed Owaisi’s for abusing Hindu Gods and dividing Hindu Muslims. Hardik had led the Patidar agitation in Gujarat in 2016 and 2017.
According to sources, Patel may contest from the Rajkot Lok Sabha seat. Patel could not contest the Gujarat assembly polls in December 2017 because he was months short of 25 then. MLA Jignesh Mewani who is a popular face among Dalit’s may also contest from Gujarat and will campaign to defeat BJP in upcomming elections.
