U-19 World Cup Final: India Gets Target of 217 Runs

After beating Pakistan single handly by the huge run difference under-19 Indian team reach in the final and from the other side Australian team has qualified to play against the Indian team. Today final is airing and one inning has been over and India has to chase 217 runs to win the title.
 
After winning the toss Australia decided to bat first and this decision of team wasn’t more praiseworthy in the front of Indian bowler and lost his both opener wickets on the mundane score of 52 runs. Both the wicket has taken by the Indian medium pace Ishan Porel. After losing the early wickets of openers, one down player Jason Sangha couldn’t do well and made only 13 runs with poor strike rate of 54.17. After losing three early wickets next two players of team Param Uppal and Jonathan Merlo subdued the tough situation and build a 75 runs partnership. Finally, Indian left-arm orthodox bowler, Anukul Roy broke down this formidable partnership.
After letting down this partnership, Jonanthan Merlo tried his best from the one end but another end has become flexible confronting Indian bowler. Struggling from the one end Jonathan has gone on the team score of 212 runs on the ball of Anukul Roy while trying to play a reverse sweep shot. Jonathan contributed 76 runs with a fair strike rate of 74.51 runs.
Thereafter falling of Jonanthan Merlo wicket at number seven, Australian team completely shattered within the four runs and couldn’t manage to play 50 overs of own quota. However, India got a facile target of 217 runs.  Indian team skipper gave chance to ball six players and all of them get wickets except Abhishek Sharma.
