Shivsena chief Uddhav Thackeray, launched a blistering attack on the BJP leadership including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Thackray was re-elected as the party president Tuesday.

Thackeray was addressing  party’s National Executive meet in Mumbai, he Said –

“I was furious after hearing what Nitin Gadkari said about the navy. You want them to stay on the border but you do not have any qualms about taking credit when a surgical strike happens,”

Sena MP in the Rajya Sabha Sanjay Raut tabled a proposal to go it alone in the 2019 Assembly and General elections and fellow Rajya Sabha MP Anil Desai supported the move.
The Sena President also took potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi questioning why was he taking foreign dignitaries like the Israel Prime Minister to Ahmedabad in stead of other places. ” Take him to Kashmir hoist the country’s flag there or at the Red Fort, what are we getting by kite flying in Ahmedabad.”questioned the Sena President.
According to “The Indian Express” – He also claimed that henceforth the Shiv Sena would contest elections in each and every state including Maharashtra with Hindutva as its agenda.
“Earlier we would refrain from fighting elections to avoid splitting of Hindu votes. Henceforth the party will fight elections in each state on the issue of Hindutva,” Thackeray said.
