Maruti Suzuki has done a spectacular job in the design of swift. The front fascia has been ameliorated completely with a large grille, new design head lights, and the new tail-lights. And front and rear end look sportier than ever.
Cabin:

While the exterior of the swift is resplendent, the design of the cabin is also something different to previous two versions. Even the feature list is exhaustive – like the touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, paddle-shifters and much more. Suzuki has also managed to squeeze out more space from the cabin of the Swift with an increased legroom and luggage space. Overall, 25 percent space is increased.

While there were many petrol engines options available outside of India based Swift model clings to the 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.3-liter diesel engine. The 1.3-liter diesel engine with 84 PS is widely spread in India. Currently, the only manual gearbox is only available. Suzuki might add a new 1.5-litre diesel engine to replace the 1.3-litre DDiS motor, a 1.0-litre Booster et engine and an SHVS engine to Swift later.
Mileage:
The 2018 Swift is built on the same platform as the Baleno, which is 10-15 percent lighter. This weight reduction and the tuned engine will lead to the increased fuel economy. Currently, the Dzire delivers industry leading 28.4 kmpl mileage. Since Swift is sportier than desire, expect a mileage around 26 kmpl through a diesel engine. A hybrid motor on the test can deliver 32 kmpl.
Price:
It is the competitive pricing of their products that make Maruti Suzuki the leading car maker in India. The 3rd gen Swift will be priced at a premium over the outgoing model but will be placed below the Baleno. Expect the new Swift to start at Rs 4.75 Lakhs and go all the way up to Rs 8 Lakhs.
