In an exhibition cricket tournament on ice that saw participation from yester years stars of the likes of Shoaib Akhtar, Zaheer Khan, Graeme Smith, Abdul Razzaq among others, former bombastic Indian opener player Sehwag scored 62 in 31 balls while captaining Palace Diamonds against Shahidi Afridi’s Royals in Switzerland on Thursday.
Even though his team’s total of 164/9 wasn’t enough for him to secure a win with Royals chasing down the target in 15.2 overs, Sehwag left everyone impressed with his knock that boasted of four fours and five sixes. He scored at a whopping strike-rate of 200 and his effort was trumped by Owais Shah whose unbeaten 34-ball 74 guided Royals’ to a six-wicket win.
After the match, Sehwag took to social media to express his joy at the knock, thundering with this message
