After all bombastic wins in the league matches and semifinal, Indian under-19 cricket team made a remarkable spot in final against Australia. Indian team came-up in the ground with full of confident and fortitude to win the title of world-cup.
After winning the toss Australian team chose to bat first. After losing the early wicket of openers Jack Edwards and Max Bryant, middle-order batsman Jonathan Merlo did his best from the one end but another end faltered and the team couldn’t manage to make a defensive total. Although, 76 runs of the contribution of Merlo reached scorecard up to 216 runs.
While chasing a total of 217 runs, U-19 Indian team open with a resplendent start and add 71 runs without a losing a wicket. Australia got Indian skipper Prithvi shah as first wicket on a delivery of Will Sutherland.  One down ace player Subhuman Gill did his job and made 31 runs with a strike rate of 103.33 and has gone bold on Param Uppal ball. But invincible opener Manjot Kalra was unstoppable from the other end and helped to make the match one-sided. Kalra hit 8 fours and 3 hi-fi sixes in his not-out innings of 101 runs in 102 balls. Indian Wicketkeeper batsman Harvick Desai added 47 individual not-out runs and helped to culminate a smooth and sophisticated win of 8 wickets.
Australian bowling end was impassive to confront Indian batsman and some of them was very expensive and no-one was frugal in the economy. Skipper Jason Sangha tried 7 bowlers but no-one was succeeded to take the wicket on the crucial situation.

India won the u-19 world-cup trophy 4 times i.e. 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018. But this world-cup was very special to India because it won all matches with a huge difference whether its runs or wickets.  India must give the credit to the former Indian skipper and the current time of Under-19 team coach Rahul Dravid for crafting the team to perform spectacularly.
